Premium Support Membership — Terms
Last updated: August 2, 2026
These terms govern the Premium Support Membership from BTGO LLC (“BTGO,” “we,” “us”), also known as Been There Got Out. They work alongside our Terms of Service, Coaching Services Agreement, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Privacy Policy. Where those documents and these terms conflict on a membership question, these terms control.
⚠️ The important part, up front
The Premium Support Membership is a recurring monthly subscription.
- After any free trial ends, you will be charged $47 per month, automatically, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time, from your account dashboard, in a couple of clicks.
- Cancelling stops future charges. Your access continues through the end of the period you’ve
already paid for.
- We’ll email you before your free trial converts to a paid subscription, so it isn’t a surprise.
Everything below is detail.
1. What you get
| Email check-in support | Quick questions between sessions, including help wording or editing communications to your ex |
| Weekly group support session | A live online group session, currently Sundays — see §6 |
| À la carte session pricing | Buy individual sessions at your package discount rate |
These benefits may change. We may add, modify, or discontinue a benefit. If we make a change that materially reduces what you’re getting, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
What the membership is not. It isn’t unlimited access to us, it isn’t legal advice, and it isn’t therapy. Email support is for quick questions — anything substantial is better handled in a session. We aim to respond within a couple of business days, but we can’t guarantee a response time, and this is not an emergency service. If you’re in danger, contact emergency services. If you’re in crisis, please contact a crisis line or a licensed professional.
2. Free trial
If you purchase a coaching package, you get a 30-day free trial of the membership.
- The trial converts to a paid subscription at $47/month automatically when it ends, unless you
cancel first.
- We will email you before the trial ends to remind you what’s about to happen and how to
cancel.
- Cancel any time during the trial and you are never charged. You keep full membership benefits
for the rest of your 30 days — we won’t cut you off early for cancelling.
- One trial per person.
3. Billing
Price. $47 per month.
When. Your first charge is the day your trial ends. After that, the same day each month.
How. Automatically, to the payment method on file, until you cancel. Please keep it current — if a payment fails we may retry, and if it keeps failing we may suspend or cancel your membership.
Taxes. Prices exclude any applicable taxes, which will be added where required.
Price changes. We may change the price. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email first, and you can cancel before it takes effect. A price change never applies to a period you’ve already paid for.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee, and no one you have to talk to.
How:
- From your account dashboard — log in, go to your subscription, cancel. A couple of clicks.
- Or email us at [email protected] and we’ll do it
for you.
What happens:
| Future charges | Stop |
| Your access | Continues to the end of the period you’ve paid for |
| Partial months | Not pro-rated or refunded |
| Sessions you bought à la carte | Yours permanently — they never expire |
| Coming back | You’re welcome any time, at the price then current |
If you’ve been charged for something you didn’t mean to keep. If you find you’ve been billed for a membership you thought you’d cancelled, or you’d genuinely forgotten you had it and haven’t been using it — email us and we’ll sort it out. We’d rather do right by you than keep money you didn’t intend to spend.
5. If we end your membership
We may suspend or end a membership if payment fails repeatedly, if these terms are breached, or if someone behaves abusively toward us or toward other members.
If we end your membership for any reason other than your conduct, we’ll refund the unused portion of the period you’ve paid for.
6. Group support sessions
The weekly group session is a members-only benefit. It works because people trust the room, so a few rules matter.
What’s said in the group stays in the group. Other members are sharing details of active custody disputes, abusive relationships, and their children’s lives. You may not share, repeat, record, screenshot, or post anything another member says, or their identity, outside the session. This continues to apply after your membership ends.
No recording. You may not record the session in any form. If we ever record one, we’ll say so in advance and tell you why.
Please understand the limits. We facilitate; we don’t run group therapy. Other members are not professionals, and what works in someone else’s case may be wrong for yours. Take what’s useful, and check anything significant with your own attorney or therapist.
Same privilege warning as everywhere else. Anything you say in a group session is not privileged, and it’s said in front of other people — which makes it more exposed than a private session, not less. Other members could, in theory, be asked about what they heard. Think about that before sharing anything you wouldn’t want repeated.
Conduct. Be respectful. We may remove anyone from a session, or from the membership, for abusive, harassing, or disruptive behavior. We may also remove anyone who appears to be there to gather information about another member.
No guarantees on scheduling. Session times may change, and sessions may occasionally be cancelled. We’ll give notice where we can.
7. Your account
Your account is for you alone. Don’t share your login. Membership benefits are personal to you and can’t be transferred.
8. The usual, but it matters
We are not attorneys and not licensed mental health professionals. Nothing in the membership is legal advice or therapy, and nothing creates an attorney–client relationship.
Nothing you tell us is privileged, and it may be discoverable or subpoenaed. See our Coaching Services Agreement for the full explanation.
No outcome is guaranteed.
You are responsible for your own decisions.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice by email, and you can cancel before it takes effect. Continuing your membership after that means you accept the change.
10. Everything else
Our Terms of Service and Coaching Services Agreement apply to your membership, including the sections on limitation of liability, release, governing law (Connecticut), and binding arbitration with a class action waiver and a 30-day opt-out.
